You long for the days of childhood, when the arrival of December brought pure joy. When your parents put up the Christmas tree, and you eagerly wrote your letter to Santa, filled with excitement over a simple wishโa material gift or an activity that felt like the world to you.
Now, as an adult, you understand the undeniable importance of financial stability. Lifeโs commitments and responsibilities make it essential for happiness.
Yet, as Grown-ups, as my kids often say, we start yearning for something deeper. weโre no longer asking for toys or gamesโweโre searching for intangible gifts.
We hope Santa could bring us inner peace, good health, longevity, peace of mind, and the ability to cherish the little moments we often overlook in the busyness of daily life. Weโre caught in the raceโrunning from one task to another, rarely finding time to pause, reflect, or let go of our constant worries about the future.
We crave simplicity and privacy in a world that constantly pushes us to be visible, to seek approval, to maintain an image of success. Whether to meet societal expectations or to fulfill our professional roles, even fields like medicine have succumbed to the pressure of self-promotion in this era dominated by social media.
