This is My Story

Hi I'm Darwin.

I used to be a very career oriented person who loved to go to work everyday with aspirations of climbing up the ladder. I remembered when my sister did a vision excercise with me and it resulted me seeing myself as a bachelor with all this suit and tie, part of corporate executive world. Yes that's how I envisioned my life was going to be and that's how I used to measure ones success in life.

Years passed I got an opportunity to work abroad (Dubai), in a conglomerate company, with it's name can bring pride. I started off with a very decent pay compared to others who started off in this country. To a majority it is considered a blessing, and it is. To God's mysterious ways, He let me see things differently. He made me realize something much more important than career, than title, than salary grade...and it's TIME. I worked for 6 days a week, 12 hours a day and at some point had to travel 4 hours back and forth, just to report to work. In some moments I even didn't have a fixed off every week which lasted for months! I started to get tired and burned out. I wanted out but I kept telling myself if I get to another job then the time I'm yearning is only half met.

Thankfully God gave me this opportunity. I now have a way to earn for a living and still own my time! Time for my family, time for my friends, time for His ministry, and most importantly time for HIM. Today, I care more about making memories with all of them and for myself which in reality, it’s the only thing that really matters!
