Here's to the Ramadan spirit of sharing Last week Farnek hosted an Iftaar Party at their labor camps. 35 staff volunteers from across the company got together and packed 1600 food packs in under 3 hours, distributed these packs across 3 camps and then broke fasts together. Ramadan Kareem!

We are pleased to announce the refurbishment of our Recreation Room which was carried out by our friends and long standing clients MTN.

Thanks to MTN the recreation room has now been repainted and fitted with 14 Laptops, Wifi, a 50” TV an A/C.

Throughout the week starting 1st June, the staff from MTN and Farnek came in and did all the work that is generally expected of our maintenance team sanding and painting the walls, installing electrical and network wiring, building tables and chairs as well as delivering training on how to use the computer to certain staff.

This was done as part of their CSR campaign “21 days of ‘ello Care”. As they are a communications company the idea behind the campaign was to help our workers get in touch with their families free of cost as well as use the internet to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

Farnek is association with Unilever and Rangers Marketing organised a camp carnival. It was a fun filled affair with games such as mini cricket, racing, singing and dancing competition with lots of prices up for grabs.

Employees from all camps were invited to partake in the activities. During the event, employees were educated on maintaining hygiene and a healthy lifestyle
