A Night Celebrating 30 Years of Entrepreneurship | Cape Town 🇿🇦

On 23 July 2026, the 30th Anniversary Gala of The Biscuit Factory was held at Hyatt Regency Cape Town, bringing together Africa Club members, ambassadors, business leaders, and distinguished institutional and economic figures.

The evening included an address by Dr. Hossein Shekarchi, President of Africa Club, as well as the Razack family sharing the story and 30-year journey of The Biscuit Factory.

Among the highlights of the evening were the official presentation of Africa Club membership cards by H.E. Mr. Mohammed Dangor and the presentation of the Africa Club Award of Excellence to The Biscuit Factory, recognising its 30-year entrepreneurial journey and contribution to industrial development.

Video messages from Mr. Seydou KeĂŻta, Honorary President of Africa Club, and Mr. Yoro Diallo, Board Member of Africa Club, were also shared, while representatives of iSON Xperiences presented insights on artificial intelligence, innovation and their applications in customer experience.

Another important milestone of the evening was the launch of the Africa Club Business Desk – South Africa, a partnership between Africa Club and the Razack family designed to facilitate business between Club members and South African suppliers and improve access to the South African market.

The evening was both a celebration of a remarkable 30-year journey and the beginning of a new chapter of connections and business collaboration.

At the Heart of 30 Years of Family Entrepreneurship | The Biscuit Factory 🇿🇦

On 22 July 2026, Africa Club members and guests visited The Biscuit Factory in Cape Town, a family-owned business celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

The visit offered an opportunity to discover firsthand the production of its range of biscuits and cookies, its industrial operations, and its activities across local sales, wholesale and international markets.

It was also an opportunity to look back at the journey of the Razack family over the past three decades—a story of family entrepreneurship, development and continuity, with a business that continues to grow after 30 years.

Our sincere thanks to the Razack family and the entire team at The Biscuit Factory for their warm and generous hospitality.

Africa Club in Cape Town 🇿🇦 | 21–26 July 2026

Four days of connection, collaboration and new opportunities in the heart of South Africa.

On the occasion of The Biscuit Factory’s 30th anniversary, and in collaboration with Africa Club, 87 guests and participants from more than 20 countries came together in Cape Town.

The programme brought together business meetings, industrial visits, networking opportunities and meaningful moments of connection—strengthening relationships within our community and creating new opportunities for collaboration.

This gathering once again reflected one of Africa Club’s core ambitions: building strong human relationships, creating concrete business opportunities and building more bridges between Africa and the rest of the world.

At the initiative of esteemed Africa Club member, Mr. Milton Cordeiro, the France Chapter of Africa Club had the honor of meeting with Her Excellency the Ambassador of Angola in Paris.

This meeting provided an opportunity for discussion and exchange of views on economic cooperation opportunities between Angola and the members of our network.

This meeting represents a first step in the ongoing discussions.

On May 26, 2026, in Paris, the French chapter of the Africa Club was officially launched during a private dinner organized at the initiative of our esteemed members, Mr. Arnaud Melilli and Mr. Yann Gozlan.
The event brought together 23 participants from various countries, including Cameroon, Lebanon, Angola, Congo, DR Congo, France, Luxembourg, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, and Benin.

The evening was marked by meaningful discussions, the creation of new connections, and a strong spirit of fraternity among entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and leaders committed to the development of Africa and the strengthening of its international connections.
The launch of this chapter represents a new milestone in the international development of our institution, following UAE, and in continuity with initiatives currently taking shape in several other countries.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event and this positive momentum possible.

Le 26 mai 2026 à Paris, le chapitre France de l’Africa Club a été officiellement lancé lors d’un dîner privé organisé à l’initiative de nos éminents membres, Monsieur Arnaud Melilli et Monsieur Yann Gozlan.
L’événement a réuni 23 participants venus de différents pays, notamment du Cameroun, du Liban, de l’Angola, de l’Iran, du Congo, de la République démocratique du Congo, de la France, du Luxembourg, du Togo, de la Côte d’Ivoire et du Bénin.
La soirée a été marquée par des échanges enrichissants, la création de nouvelles relations et un fort esprit de fraternité entre entrepreneurs, investisseurs, dirigeants et décideurs engagés pour le développement de l’Afrique et le renforcement de ses connexions internationales.
Le lancement de ce chapitre représente une nouvelle étape dans le développement international de notre institution, après Dubaï, et dans la continuité des initiatives actuellement en cours dans plusieurs autres pays.
Nos sincères remerciements à toutes celles et ceux qui ont contribué à la réussite de cet événement et à cette belle dynamique.
