Growth in business comes in many forms…

Yes my income from my business grew while I was away

The other coaches were still working and bringing in new clients

But for me there’s more to it than just the financial side of things

I can’t say I want a business the runs itself…I don’t

I love what I do, helping coaches grow their business and working with all my PT clients

I enjoy all aspects of it

But with a young kid and another on the way

It definitely adds more pressure to something that had zero pressure before

But doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of day to day work

One thing I never had to think about before was switching off or being present

I could wake up, gym and work late into the evening

Now I’m actively taking time away from the one thing that gives my family a really nice life to spend time with them

But that’s the whole point behind it

I work so that I can…

For me that main goal is being able to switch off and be fully present with my family

This is probably the first time I’ve been able to fully do that

And it felt amazing

One thing I’ll be doing moving forward is one week off every 3 months

Ideally with a trip planned once things with baby number 2 have settled

We made so many nice memories over the course of just one week off and it’s highlighted to me how important that is

We haven’t even scratched the surface yet…

Unlike most mentors I never bu****it any of you with my “unique mechanism” or some smoke and mirrors tactics that end up just being “run paid ads and send 100 cold DM’s a day”

The clients I work with like Lisa who see insane growth like this in their business in 2 months usually have a few things in common

They’re willing to work hard and put a lot of time and effort into their business

They implement quickly what we discuss on check ins and don’t wait for things to be perfect

And I hate to say it but they trust the process

Every single thing I’ve asked Lisa to do she’s done

And as a result she’s more than doubled her business since July

While most of you are sitting their posting and hoping

Wondering why no one cares about your “3 spaces left” posts

Complaining about how hard it is to build a business

No one said it was easy, it’s a lot of hard work but it’s not complicated

It can feel out of reach until you do it…

Even thinking back to leaving my fulltime job

It seemed like such a big crazy wild dream

Until it happened

Then my first £10k month

£20k months

£30k months

And now over £40k per month

The £50k is in touching distance

And now I almost expect it to happen

Set my tasks the night before

Wake up and box them off

It’s as simple as that

And when I do finally hit the £1 million

Without paid ads

Cold DM’s

Or relying on group coaching launches and filling up useless coaches who can’t self generate their own leads

I’m doing it my way

And I know without doubt it’ll happen

And tbh when it does I won’t change a thing in my life outside of work

I’ll still be spending most of my days in sandals and swim shorts 😂

Most mentors sell you dreams

Yeah you do technically pay to work with me

But I’ve got nothing to sell you

If you’re not willing to put the work in, just leave

It’s your business at the end of the day

Most coaches can’t cut it

They rave about discipline, showing up, non negotiables

They make all the same excuses their clients make as to why they can’t lose weight

I don’t promise you a dream. So you pay me thousands on the spot.

What I sell is the realities of building a coaching business that you love and doesn’t keep you up at night with stress or guilt

Building a business is hard work

Granted it gets easier as time goes on. A bigger network, more social proof, better content and copywriting skills, more comfortable on sales calls…I could go on.

But you get the point.

For a lot of coaches the first milestone isn’t £10k per month

It’s cutting back hours in the gym or in their jobs to spend more time building the online business

It’s being able to pay their mortgage with money from this new business

It’s being able to pay for holidays or travel without slapping it on a credit card and “deal with it later”

And let’s not forget £800 a month extra is life changing for a lot of coaches

Now Jenny and I are only just getting started and this won’t be the last post you see of her

With her level of determination, work ethic and “get s**t done” you will see those £3k month posts and eventually the £8-10k month posts.
