Chief Resident Engineer -Electrical

Description:
We are looking for a Chief Resident Engineer - Electrical in Sharjah.

The successful applicant should have a Bachelor /Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with above 15 years of experience preferably in LV, HV cable laying work, substations and Power Plants. They must be familiar with local regulations and their duties include working drawings, inspection of Electrical works, monitoring site progress and reporting.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15 years of experience in Government or Private Power Sector company / Engineering Consultancy /Electrical Contracting Company/ Power Plants /
Electro-mechanical company.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE.
• Vast experience in Engineering Consultancy is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Monitoring the performance of subcontractors.
• Managing and supervising site engineers.
• Ensuring that work activities have been carried out in accordance with the plans,
specifications and industry standards.
• Ensuring that tests and inspections are performed.
• Ensuring that delivered materials meet specifications and established quality
standards.
• Initiating and maintaining records, back-charge procedures, progress reports.

Due to the current COVID 19 outbreak, Coronavirus has become a global pandemic, affecting the adversely the health of millions of people and economic activity worldwide. We constantly trying to understand the impact of this global pandemic on business and employment in the region, how companies are dealing with it, and what we could do to help our business partners, staff, and society. Due to the restrictions that have been put in place by the UAE Government, we have switched to operating WFH (Work from Home)considering the safety of our employees, their families, and the community. In order to keep in touch with our valuable clients & other stake holders on regular basis, meetings are being conducted on Zoom, Hangouts etc. We are also making use of available time to conduct trainings through virtual meeting rooms.
