Like so many others across the UAE, we raised the flag.
Not because we were told to. Because we wanted to.
For almost 17 years, this country hasn't just been where we work. It's been where we've built our dreams. Where we've found safety, opportunity, and a community that welcomes you as your own, no matter where you came from.
When you've lived here for nearly two decades, you stop thinking of the UAE as a place you're staying. You realize it's the place you call home.
Raising that flag felt small. But it was our way of saying something big: Thank You.
Thank you for the stability that let us sleep soundly. Thank you for the vision that gave us room to grow. And thank you for making us feel, every single day, that we belong.
We are proud to be part of this nation. We are proud to stand with our neighbors, colleagues, and friends who raised their flags right alongside us.
This land gave us a home. Today, we simply wanted to show it ours.
