If marriages were meant to be broken due to a mistake made by a spouse, nobody would be spared divorce. A spouse is meant to be the strongest pillar of support during times of difficulty & hardship. Instead of finding reason to hold a marriage together, today we tend to look for reason to break it. Sometimes we overlook a thousand points of goodness in our spouses due to ten weaknesses. Spouses who have assisted each other through errors & hardships are mostly much happier than ever before. It is those who refuse to be helped & continue repeating their unacceptable behaviour who compel their spouses to rightfully consider leaving.

May the Almighty save our marriages in this age of divorce for the minutest reason. Aameen! {M***i Ismail Menk}

Sorah Al-Fatihah ( The Opening ) – Verses Number 7
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ( 1 )
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (2 )
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ( 3 )
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ( 4 )
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ( 5 )
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ( 6 )
Guide us to the straight path -
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ( 7 )
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
