☘️ Afghanistan contributes almost nothing to global emissions.
Yet it absorbs the shock of a crisis it did not create.

The real issue is not vulnerability.
It is institutional fragility.

Short-term projects will not fix systemic climate risk.
Capacity gaps, Fragmented planning, Limited climate finance access.

If adaptation is treated as charity, it will fail.
If treated as structural investment, it can transform resilience. 🌱

The question is no longer whether Afghanistan is climate-vulnerable.
The question is:
Who is investing in long-term institutional resilience?

REDpreneur Town Hall!

Last week we hosted one of our REDpreneur Alumni Town Halls, a central peace of our Community Offer. This online meet-up brought together Alumni from various cohorts and countries. Together we discussed what is on our former participants’ mind and addressed each request personally.

This week Akam Climate Team met with several environmental organizations to discuss working together, facing climate challenges, finding solutions and supporting each other.

Our goal is to raise awareness, support youth education, making capacities for CCADRR and contribute to a sustainable, clean and greener Kabul City.

We believe that through cooperation and solidarity, we can build a better environment and help keep nature clean.

❄️🌨 This year’s snowfall in Kabul is very important. Snow helps recharge groundwater, reduce air pollution, and support a greener spring. People are encouraged to guide melted snow into soil areas and avoid wasting water, helping reduce the impacts of drought.❄️

بارش برف امسال در کابل اهمیت زیادی دارد. برف به تقویت❄️ منابع آب زیرزمینی، کاهش آلودگی هوا و فراهم شدن زمینه برای بهار سبز
کمک می‌کند. از شهروندان تقاضا می‌شود آب ناشی از ذوب برف را به ساحات خاکی هدایت کرده و از ضایع شدن آن جلوگیری کنند تا در کاهش اثرات خشکسالی نقش داشته باشد.❄️
