As an exploration company, FRED is engaged in continuous research to identify new targets. In certain field exploration campaigns, the fence method for drilling is employed to predict and connect underground values, guided by geophysics and surface geochemistry. The Southern corridor has revealed at least 7 high-grade ore shoots containing gold (Au) and silver (Ag).

🗓️ November is here, which means days are getting longer. Daylight can last until 22:00 or so.☀️ You can easily notice the change in mood in everything that surrounds us: the grass is greener, flowers are blooming 🌷, and even animals move around more often.
Sometimes, logging some new cores in search of veins with friends makes it more entertaining. 🐈‍⬛🐱

In many exploration projects, history precedes us. Large or small explorers have passed through, leaving their mark ⛏🏔🗿; even in historical contexts far removed from the present mining activities have been viable.
Our day-to-day challenge 💪 is to continue finding mining value in these lands, respecting the previous human history and preserving the surrounding environment. 🥰🏜⛰🗻🏝

🤩Somuncurá Plateau 🤩
This silent and colossal friend, located just north of our working area, is responsible for a spring that gives life to the nearby ranch. It consists of a basaltic cover whose fractures allow the passage of water, which emerges almost suitable for consumption in many places. 💦Additionally, it acts as a cover for veins and, in many cases, unknown mineralization. 🧐

Among the Patagonian chestnut trees, green and yellow, we suddenly come across flowers 🌺 that, with their shy appearance, recreate a landscape for delight 😍. Who else has these unique opportunities to work while enjoying nature ??? 🥰😎

Did you know our sunrise in summer is around 4am? 🌥 Winter can get quite rough but summer is our favourite season. Our sun sets around 22hs and our night shift is happy to have natural light until late. 🌞🌚

Did you know that surface sampling is also necessary for geological mapping? Open-air activities for geological mapping also include collecting samples such as floats and chips to send to the laboratory allowing for an estimation of the composition present at the surface level. Valuable indicators can be derived from this type of analysis.
