The first line of defence: access control for critical infrastructure

NIS2 and CER are raising security requirements across Europe – including in Austria (NISG2026, RKEG) and Germany (NIS-2 and KRITIS). The aim is to make critical facilities more resilient – both digitally and physically. After all, security starts at the door.

Operators of critical infrastructure, in particular, must clarify: who is allowed where and when – and how do we prevent unauthorised access?
