It’s sad to say in 2011 this was pretty standard

As you see it is how this job was installed cables hanging out and all

Was a “roofer special”
Popular in that era where roofers did the entire job and a fat lazy sparky would connect the inverter while gaffing and complaining

We have come a long way but these s**t heaps are still out there 🤣🤣

Needless to say this one was beyond saving , 3 different brand / make and model of 190-200 watt panels connected with zero care

Time for a new lease on life for this home 🙏🙏🔋

❌ Battery not charging properly
❌ App makes no sense , not reading what you would expect
❌ Installer won’t answer the phone or can’t speak English 🤣
❌ battery Retailer disappeared after install and is on the way to the Maldives 🏝️with a pile of money 😢

Well guys, we couldn’t save these ones😢

We’ve had to go against our own priorities and donate these babies offshore to Africa for micro grid usage and hopefully a second life 🙏🙏

Our #1 priority is to repair and re-use existing panels

These couldn’t be saved taking up the entire usable roofspace for only 4kw

Upgraded to 10.5kw to utilise the 40kwh battery installed last month

Still breaks my heart 💔
