We’re proud to wish our two Graduate Award winners, Oliver Davis (Royal Adelaide Golf Club – Golf) and Thomas Jolly (D&D Curators – Turf), all the very best as they represent TMSA on the national stage at the upcoming ASTMA National Turf Industry Awards in Sydney.

In the lead-up to the event, we caught up with both graduates and Sophie Warren (Glenelg Golf Club), our 2024 Golf Graduate Award winner, who shared valuable insights on the interview process and what to expect during the fast-paced conference program. It’s shaping up to be a whirlwind experience, and we’re confident they’ll represent the association with pride.

What a season folks! It’s been a bit quiet on our page, with one of the driest spring summers on record on the back of relatively poor rainfall in winter/spring which has needless to say been brutal for all turf managers. Well done for finishing top and good luck to both Port Noarlunga teams hosting finals today !

Amelia has had a dominant season with ball in hand for the Women’s 1st grade, bowling at any stage of the game. Her highlights include 4/10 vs Kensington, 4/4 vs Adelaide and 4/10 vs West Torrens. Amelias incredible skills led her to taking a hat trick in Round 4 of the T20 season and finishing with figures of 4/15. She is also a great addition to the lower order with her batting experience and hard-hitting abilities. Amelia has showcased her skills this season leading the wickets in the T20 season and has been a great teammate at Sturt.
