Fired Up in the East End

Fired Up in the East End Fired Up takes over the East End on 3rd August 2017 to bring you a deconstructed Tedtalk-style event with leading experts speaking at different venues.

Fired Up is designed to bring you leading experts from various fields focusing on principles from the PERMA model (Positive Emotion, Resilience, Relationships, Engagement) in a TEDtalk-style environment but with less formality and more engagement. We are partnering up with different venues in the East End to host talks and workshops that will run parallel to each other. Guests are encouraged to vi

sit different venues/speakers at each round. We are currently looking for volunteers living in Adelaide (aged 25 and under) to not only join the the team but also co-create the event with us. Fired Up is brought to you by Moira Deslandes Consulting and supported by City of Adelaide.

Dr Sumbo Ndi is privileged to be a witness to the role of connections and belonging in health and wellbeing through her work at Relationship Australia. She has a PhD in Biomedical science. As a microbiologist and a coach/counsellor, she understands that the power to thrive lies in creating the right environment. She believes clarity builds a pathway to successful relationships.
