Meet Lisa, the heart behind Rain Bow Hollow right here in Tea Tree Gully!

What started as a family idea before Lisa had even opened the doors has grown into a psychosocial NDIS support service that genuinely gives back, from sponsoring the Gawler Rangers Baseball Club and donating a mud kitchen to St Agnes Primary, to running free pet therapy with office favourite Marlow (a very big, very fluffy Saint Bernard puppy).

Lisa and her team also offer free guidance for local families trying to navigate the NDIS, because as she puts it, getting good first hand information is the best place to start.

Rainbow Hollow is currently looking for more staff too, so if you're passionate about disability support, this could be your sign!

Twenty-two years ago, David swapped Sheffield for Tea Tree Gully. Since then his business DB Window Cleaning has cleaned windows and solar panels for hospitals, schools, aged care homes and hundreds of local families, and he's still the guy locals text the morning after a clean just to say the view looks amazing.

Now David's ready for his next chapter. He's not after more work, he's after someone to mentor and help out in the business.

I sat down with Kim at Good Shepherd Lutheran School, Para Vista to hear how they're building a genuinely connected community, from peer-led playground support and a smooth ELC-to-school transition program, to donation drives supporting disaster relief in Nepal.

Northeast locals will know the name Sam Doman before they know the new sign above the door. After almost 18 years with Ray White, Sam has rebranded to Doman & Co. - Real Estate, but he's still in the same building, still calling auctions across Tea Tree Gully, and still backing the local footy clubs, Novita's Mighty River Run and the Variety Bash.

With almost 1,100 properties settled across his career, Sam reckons the northeast still has plenty of room to grow, especially with council forecasting the area's housing stock to more than double by 2050.
