I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the people who shape us — the colleagues who become friends, the friends who become anchors, and the moments in our careers that quietly change the way we lead. Reconnecting with some of those people has reminded me how much wisdom sits inside our stories, so I decided to put pen to paper (or my fingers to a keyboard) to start telling my story.

Connecting Purpose to Action.

Last week’s workshop reminded me why I do this work. I was engaged to run a workshop in the space of Community Health, bringing together clinicians, Health Executives and Health Workers to understand what it takes to turn shared purpose into meaningful action, grounded in cultural safety and genuine collaboration.

When you bring a group of passionate, committed people together — people who care deeply about their purpose and the communities they serve — something powerful happens. You can feel the shift as ideas turn into clarity, clarity turns into alignment, and alignment turns into action.
What stood out most was the empathy in the room. The willingness to listen. The courage to challenge. The generosity to share lived experience. When purpose is held collectively, action becomes not just possible, but inevitable.

This is the work I love. This is what we do at Wonder Hatch.

We help leaders and teams connect purpose to action — bringing people together, and creating the conditions for meaningful, sustainable impact.

Feeling grateful for the energy, honesty and heart everyone brought into the space. It was a privilege to witness.

Excited to be launching a new leadership program in Unlocking Psychosocial Safety. Both because workplace wellbeing is close to my heart and because creating engaging and meaningful content fills my cup!

Through both personal experience and what I’m hearing from clients, it’s clear:
Too many leaders lack the tools, skills, and awareness to shape culture, or to meet their regulatory responsibilities in identifying and managing psychosocial hazards.

That’s why I’m thrilled to launch our new Unlocking Psychosocial Safety Program - part of our broader Hatch Method leadership series (more on that soon… 👀).
This module is designed to help leaders and teams:
✅ Understand what psychosocial safety really means
✅ Clarify roles and responsibilities in managing risk
✅ Identify and assess workplace hazards
✅ Build a culture of wellbeing through practical strategies and targeted interventions

Over the past few weeks, I have been partnering with a diverse range of leadership teams and boards on creating visions that inspire people to act. We explored a deceptively simple yet powerful framework: Exploring purpose, possibility and impact.

Purpose : considers why you exist - thinking with clarity and intent.
Possibility : explores what could be - thinking about potential, innovation and transformation
Impact : What you change - thinking about outcomes and real-word effect

🔍 This lens helped us challenge assumptions, lean into curiosity, and unlock fresh clarity - for customers, communities, and teams.

💡 The energy in the room during those “aha” moments is electric. You can feel the shift. It lights people up and energises me every time.

❤️ This is the kind of work that reminds me why I do what I do.

LET'S TALK CAREER PATHWAYS: Tell me - how would you summaries your career in a few words?

A recruiter once described my career as “non-traditional” - I loved that. At dinner last night I was recalling my time as a junior park ranger researching the nesting habits of flat back turtles on a remote island in the NT .. how did I make my way from my swag on the swamp banks to the Executive table in Banking? or to designing Hamptons inspired spaces in Brighton? Developing IT Strategy in Policing? and now CEO of own Consulting Business?

Not a linear career, but one rich in diversity, new experiences which as meant continuous learning, wonderful people, challenges, tears, heart-warming moments and times of pure joy!

As I shape this next chapter, I’m reflecting on the winding path that brought me here. Every twist taught me something. Every turn built resilience. Some came with tears, others with a happy dance.!

Now, I get to channel this mosaic of experiences into coaching, leadership development, and—most importantly—into life itself, as new challenges continue to unfold.

As I build out my new business I have the rare opportunity for deep reflection. The preciousness of time, space, curiosity and connection has been at times quite overwhelming but also joyous and surprising.

Someone much wiser than me once said “Good company is the best university” I have loved having the space to reconnect with my tribes both new and old. Listening to their stories, their learnings, sharing my own and laughing (I mean really really laughing!)

It is through this collection of the human experience that we become … wiser, more curious, purposeful, grateful.

My homework for you, reach out and reconnect with that old colleague that inspired you, lifted you up and stood next to you in the hard times, cause I can tell you it will reignite something in you - just when you might need it. ❤️
