Guided by our motto "Clear your space, focus on the important stuff," we create supportive, organised spaces that transforms lives. I have a passion for helping people create a less stressful life by decluttering and getting organised. I'm Julie Cliff, a declutter coach at Space and Time, and I've been helping women for many years to overcome the overwhelm of having too much stuff and an overflowi
ng to-do list. In my experience, a cluttered home can lead to stress and anxiety that spills out into other areas of our lives. Through coaching, I help people make conscious choices about what they surround themselves with and how they use their time, so they can create the life they want to live. I also facilitate workshops and give keynote addresses on decluttering and time management. My team also offers one-on-one decluttering and organising services in Melbourne. We work with families to declutter all areas of the home that are challenging. We are able to give you expert advice on storage, organisation ideas, or tips to approach an organising problem. We will also provide motivation, encouragement, and accountability to get the job done. MY BACKGROUND
After spending a good 20 years as an executive assistant and administrator, I decided to put my organisational skills to good use and help others stay on top of their game. That's when I discovered the wonderful world of professional organisers. I'm happily married with a loving husband and two energetic boys! MY INTERESTS AND INFLUENCES
When I'm not coaching or doing some hands-on help, I love sitting on the couch watching TV and relaxing. If it’s summer I’ll be watching the cricket and if it's the Winter I’ll be watching rugby league. I also enjoy listening to audiobooks and and can’t live without my early morning exercise. I love helping people declutter and get organised. I grew up on The Beatles, ABBA, Kylie Minogue and Prince but I don’t seem to make time for music so much anymore… I need to rectify that! I love Thai food and we are a big family of Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club fans after I worked there for 15 years and our oldest Son Robbie became a media sensation as the Fastest Man on the Planet running down the sidelines of an ANZAC day game as a ballkid - read the story and check out the video here. I didn’t read as a kid. It’s only been reading with my kids that I’ve learned to love reading
My favourite novels list is a little short for my age… due to my late uptake. “Paris Letters” by Janice McLeod is beautifully written with a decluttering theme. I know I’m 20 years late, but I recently read “Eat, Pray Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert and loved it. My all time favourite non-fiction book is You are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincerio. I think I’ve listened to all 7 hours of it 10 times. I also love Atomic Habits by James Clear, Essentialism and Effortless by Greg McKeown (I always go to say Richard McKeown, because he was a rock dude in my class at school.. But not an author), The Power of Habit by Chales Duhigg (I actually gave up drinking by changing my habits after reading this book - cold turkey and have not looked back). Fair Play by Eve Rodski, Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey, Stolen Focus and Lost Connections by Johann Hari, The Happiest Man on Earth by Eddi Jaku, Invention by James Dyson… you think you’ve been working hard on something - it took Dyson Five years and 5,127 prototypes to create DC01, the world's first bagless vacuum cleaner. The 4-hour workweek by Tim Ferriss - his Podcast is also awesome
- I always listen to books whilst I’m traveling between clients - best audio book is Greenlights and Will - there’s something about an actor delivering their own material - it’s magical
My goal is to help people realise there is always a solution to a problem. You just need to break it down into tiny little pieces and address each bit.. ABOUT THIS PAGE
My goal with this page is to create a welcoming space where people can come to find tips and inspiration for decluttering and getting organised. I want to encourage conversations about what works and what doesn't when it comes to decluttering and organising our homes and lives. I also believe that when we are giving things a go and making small changes that will lead to big results. I'm not here to judge, but rather to share my own experiences and insights and learn from others. I hope you find this page helpful and inspiring. I'm excited to connect with you and support you on your decluttering and organising journey. Let's make Space and Time for the things that matter most!
