As we trot closer to tick season in Queensland I have a very Important PSA (Pet Service Announcement)!

Make sure to be vigilant for ticks on your furry friends. You can spot a tick by its small insect-like appearance (typically around 3-5mm in size and brown in colouring)

These nasties can be commonly found under our collars, in our paws as well as gumlines and ears 🙁 To help prevent ticks make sure to visit your local VET and ask for a tick treatment! They come in yummy flavours and my mummy tricks me all the time when I have one, my favourite is beer flavour - yummy! You can also purchase products such as tick collars or shampoos to help keep us tick-free. Nothing beats a snuggly with my mummy as she checks us every night, even pumpkin the cat gets in on the action.
