NOW HIRING — WORKSHOP MANAGER
NANANGO QLD - BOOIE QLD

FULL-TIME POSITION | LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Workshop Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on, all-round position suited to someone who has experience both on the tools and managing the day-to-day operations of a workshop.

🔨 BUILDING & HANDYMAN WORK

We build a range of container and modular projects, so we're looking for someone with practical building/handyman experience, including:

Framing
Insulation
Cladding
Flooring
Kitchen installation
Bathroom modular assembly
Painting and finishing
General building and handyman work

🚚 WORKSHOP & STOCK MANAGEMENT

When our stock and containers arrive, you'll be responsible for keeping the workshop organised and jobs moving, including:

Managing and supervising casual staff
Unloading shipping containers
Loading and unloading trucks
Forklift operation
Packaging and preparing customer orders
Timber framing/packing goods for transport
Managing inventory and stock
Managing customer orders and paperwork
Coordinating workshop workloads and deadlines

🔧 PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

We import and manufacture a huge range of products, so no two weeks are necessarily the same. You'll be involved in assembling and preparing products such as:

Bathroom pods
Go-karts
Mini machinery
Pop-up buildings
Modular products
Container projects
And much more

👷 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We need someone who:

Has building, handyman or trade-related experience
Has workshop management or supervisory experience
Is confident working independently and managing their own workload
Can effectively manage a small team
Has strong attention to detail
Is organised and capable of handling inventory, orders and paperwork
Is comfortable working both in the office and on the tools
Can work to deadlines and take responsibility for getting jobs completed
Holds forklift experience/licence or is capable of undertaking this work
Is looking for a long-term opportunity

⏰ FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS

We are flexible with start and finish times, provided workshop deadlines, customer orders and projects are completed on schedule.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being involved in everything from building projects and assembling machinery to managing staff, stock and workshop operations.
