⚠️Mmmmmm some WINTER feels for South East QLD & North East NSW.... After this low goes offshore on Friday the large backside rotation and tight pressure gradient will impact us. Very strong and gusty South Westerly winds up to 50-60km/h will develop on Friday and continue all weekend.
🔵Inland areas will be cold with max temps on the Downs & Granite Belt between 14-18C but take off 5-10C for the feels like outside.
🔵On the Northern Tablelands even colder with max temps of 11-16C and again take off 5-10C for the feels like outside.
👉Coastal areas your temps do a bit better due to the Foehn Effect (Once the westerly air passes the ranges and flows down the leeward side, it descends into areas of higher atmospheric pressure. This compresses the air, causing its temperature to rise rapidly. Because the air lost much of its moisture on the windward side, it heats up at a much faster)
👉So along the coast max temps of 20-24C for the 3 days but it will be windy and you will feel the chill factor.
⚠️ Life Threatening Hazards = Hyperthermia from wearing Summer clothes, Birds flying uncontrollably becoming missiles, skirts & dresses blowing up to your neck giving everyone an eyeful, outdoor sports will total suck FOR EVERYONE, just forget your hair it will be a lost cause, clothes lines will get dizzy and half your underwear could end up 3 doors down, wheelie bins will become possessed and run wildly down the street but most of all - wind has invisible powers! It will hit you hard but You shouldn't die unless something falls over and squashes you, or you get blown off building or cliff or something weird.
Ok enough huffing and puffing from me now. WHERE IS MY RAIN!!!
