Covid sent a lot of blokes into their shells and they never really came back out. Running my own business, I was lonely. Properly lonely. And I had some serious stuff going on upstairs that I wasn't dealing with either.

For a while there, I was paying some of my tradesmen more than I was paying myself. Took me too long to work out why. It wasn't the hours. It was the way I was pricing jobs, and it hits plumbers, sparkies, roofers and HVAC businesses just the same, whatever the job type.

I built my own plumbing and roofing business past $1M a month, so I've been right where you are. Residential maintenance, renos, construction, the pattern doesn't change. If your pay packet doesn't match the work you're putting in, that's a pricing problem, not a hard work problem.

I have a giggle when I see coaches flexing with boats and cars. Because chances are, that's built on the client's money, not theirs.

Before Tactical Tradie, I already had 6 houses. I wasn't hurting for cash.

I started Tactical Tradie because I stuffed things up plenty as a tradie business owner, on my journey to $1.3 million dollar months. And I don't want other tradies making those same mistakes. Watching a bloke finally get the business, and the life, he's been grafting for. That's what gets me out of bed.
