My feed is full of 2025 wrap-ups right now.
All the wins. The goals achieved. The highlight reels.

But for some of us, the year didn’t go to plan.

If you’re scrolling and comparing (like I am too), I hope this is a reminder that behind every highlight reel is a whole lot you don’t see.

2025 was, honestly, the year that almost broke me.

It was also our biggest year ever.
We worked with incredible clients, built an amazing team, and achieved things I’m deeply proud of.

But behind the scenes, life was hard.
And the thing about business is, you still have to show up every day. You keep moving forward, even when things feel heavy and you’re running on empty.

So here’s to a new year.
To fresh starts, softer seasons, and a little more grace.

And a reminder: everyone has something going on.

In 2018, I started my business with nothing more than an old laptop and a dream to work around my family, not the other way around.

Back then, I’d never even heard of a VA. But I knew I’d been given an opportunity, and I had to take it. I didn’t have a business plan, a fancy desk setup, or a clue where it would all lead… but I did have determination (and a whole lot of late nights).

Since then, we’ve supported over 20 amazing eComm brands across Australia, built an incredible team, brought Andy into the business, and taken big steps I never imagined back in those early days.

It’s been messy, magical, and honestly one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. If you’re in the thick of building something right now, keep going. You never know how far that little spark of an idea might take you ✨

It’s probably been a long time since we’ve done a proper introduction, so hi there! We’re Kirsty & Andy.

Here are three things you might not know about us:

1️⃣ Kirsty does not cook—at all. Andy handles every meal, from breakfast to dinner. Funny enough, before we met, Kirsty joked about manifesting a guy who could cook… truth is, without him, she’d probably starve!

2️⃣ We’re total opposites. Kirsty runs at 1000 miles an hour, while Andy is way more chilled. Somehow, we balance each other out (most of the time). Eight months in, and we still haven’t killed each other… though there have been some close calls!

3️⃣ When we’re not wrangling the kids, you’ll find us at brunch. Andy’s go-to? Eggs Benny. Kirsty’s? Avo on toast.

2024 in Review! 🌟

Wow, what a whirlwind of a year! Back in January, I set a bold goal — to have Andy join me in the business within six months. And just two months later, there he was!

None of this would be possible without our incredible team. Huge shoutout to .va, .anne__, , , and . Your dedication, passion, and support for our clients never go unnoticed. We’re so grateful for everything you do! ❤️

And to our amazing clients — thank you! Your growth this year has been nothing short of inspiring. From smashing goals to conquering Black Friday (still catching my breath, haha), you’ve done it all. It’s an absolute honour to be trusted to support your businesses! We could not be more grateful for you!

So, what’s in store for 2025? SO MUCH! Maybe I’ll even stick to my own marketing plan this time (don’t hold me to it, haha). But one thing's for sure — this is just the beginning ✨

In the past week, two of my clients have told me they had their *biggest months ever* in September! 🎉 And here’s the kicker—it wasn’t because of any direct sales strategies we implemented. That success is *all them*!

So, what did we actually do? We took the weight of their daily tasks off their shoulders, which gave them the freedom to zero in on the areas that truly drive results. By focusing on Facebook ads, product development, and inventory management, they could put their energy where it matters most. Seeing them thrive and hit these milestones has been incredible! 🙌
