SO WHAT DOES THE NAME STUDIO HI CHA MEAN? We all know what Studio means so let's look at 'Hi Cha' or 'Haib Tshaj' (as it is written). Powerful, forceful, fierce.
2. Great, good. and the word 'Tshaj' is a Hmong adjective meaning:
1. Greater in size, amount, degree or extent.
2. So together 'Haib Tshaj' in Hmong means: 'Greater than' and is pronounced: 'hi-cha'


WHO IS STUDIO HI CHA? Studio Hi Cha is run by Paul (pk.lor) and his other half/assistant Janet who are based in Brisbane. Having a base does not mean we are limited in our serviceable area as our studio is portable and have traveled up north to Cairns/Innisfail and down to Melbourne. Paul has completed four courses:
- SLR Introductory Course
- SLR Colour - Level 1
- PHOTOSHOP - Level 1
- Studio Lighting
from the Brisbane College of Photography & Art and has continued to improve his skills through countless photo shoots and paid jobs. Favourite quote: "The single most important component of a camera is the twelve inches behind it" Ansel Adams
