Seven million out of 24 million Aussies were born overseas. This is 30% of the nation. This proportion in other countries is:
in the US 13%
in the UK 12%
in Germany 8%

In Sydney 42% of the population was born overseas. This compares with 29% for NYC, 36% for London, 22% for Paris.

Any consumer facing business has to consider facts like this in their marketing.
