It’s been a little quiet on the Task2Me front lately, but rest assured — I’m still here!

I’ve recently taken on an exciting new client, and I’ve well and truly been thrown in the deep end … quite literally — it’s all about fish.

Now, I’ll happily eat fish, but understanding the differences between them? Let’s just say my knowledge didn’t extend far beyond knowing that coral trout tastes far better than snapper (yes, I’m a bit of a fish snob — only the best of the ocean for me!).

Happy Thursday!

Can you believe we’re already cruising toward mid-May? Like seriously… wasn’t it just February last week? 😅

You know what that means — June is sneaking up faster than your favorite snacks disappear in a shared office kitchen. 🍪😆

Task 2 Me is OOO (Out Of Office… and Out Of Energy) 🏖️

After a whirlwind month of launching my business, meeting new clients, juggling my part-time gig, squeezing in two christenings, wrangling oxygen studies (yes, that’s a thing), and throwing a baby sprinkle—I’ve decided it’s time to give myself a promotion... to paid beach leave! 🐚☀️

Honestly, I’ve been so busy I almost had to hire myself. If cloning was a thing, I’d have a whole team of me by now. But since science hasn’t caught up, I’m clocking off for four glorious days of doing absolutely nothing productive except perhaps perfecting my beach towel-to-ice-cream ratio.

Huge love and thanks to everyone who has supported and shared Task 2 Me. You’ve helped me kick some serious start-up goals, and I’m genuinely overwhelmed (in the best possible way).

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter and are soaking up this extra-long weekend. I’ll be back Monday—sun-kissed, recharged, and ready to rumble!

The Rise of the Virtual Secretariate (Yes, That’s Me!)

This week, I had the pleasure of onboarding a client whose fingers are well and truly in many pies—think committees, councils, and more acronyms than a government department.

Now, this legend was operating strictly Old School. Paper diary. Handwritten notes. Possibly even a quill (okay, maybe not, but you get the vibe). But fear not! Enter me, your friendly neighborhood Virtual Secretariate, armed with Google Calendar, automated text reminders, and just the right amount of patience.

We’ve now got a system humming:

Good morning all, wow what a past few days as we are now recovering the effects of lovely Alfred!! I currently do not have power or internet along with so many of us here. I’ve snuck out for a decent coffee and some internet and power at my daughter’s house! For a tad bit of a laugh that we all need, this was my coffee making attempts yesterday, took 2 hours to get a like warm coffee, but it did the job!
