This is a non-negotiable for me.

Let me make this very clear.

I don’t always WANT to cook, but I know I always feel better when I get into the channel.

It’s where I get out of my head & into my space with my ancestors & spirit team.

And no, I don’t always cook Greek food so that’s why I hang out with the ancestors. 😂

I cook whatever tf we feel like.

But I know they’ve got universal knowledge I’m not privy to, so I still call on them regardless of what I’m cooking.

Even when I’m making Indian food. 😂

Because apparently the ancestors have thoughts on curry too.

It’s one of the ways I come back to myself, get creative, play, connect & actually enjoy the process of making something.

And by the end of it, I’m always glad I did.

Because I’ve given something back to myself.

I’ve nourished myself.

I’ve taken the time to make something beautiful, delicious & nourishing, instead of just grabbing whatever was easiest & moving on to the next thing.

That’s the magic for me.

And the absolute mess I create while doing it is exactly why I have a dishwasher. 😂
