The recent national conversation around menopause (including the new awareness campaign highlighted by and the Australian Government) reflects something many women have known for years:

Women have been navigating perimenopause and menopause quietly, often unsupported, while continuing to lead, work, care, create and contribute every single day.

This is not just a health conversation.
It is a workplace conversation.
A leadership conversation.
A sustainability and performance conversation.

At Cycle Smart, we work with organisations to bring evidence-informed, human-centred education and frameworks into the workplace so women are better supported through hormonal transitions across life stages — from menstruation to motherhood to menopause.

Our work includes:

• Menopause and hormone literacy workshops
• Cycle-aware leadership and planning frameworks
• Burnout and mental load awareness
• Workplace wellbeing and retention strategies
• Education for leaders, teams and HR professionals
• Practical tools to support sustainable performance and inclusion

Because when women understand their bodies better, and workplaces understand women better, everybody benefits.

This work is led by and .naturopath , bringing together expertise across women’s wellness, leadership, education and organisational systems.

The silence around menopause is finally shifting.
The opportunity now is to move beyond awareness into meaningful support, intelligent workplace design and real cultural change.

If your organisation is ready to start this conversation, we’d love to connect.

We often move through our days without noticing the quiet patterns shaping how we feel.

Energy rises and falls. Focus sharpens and softens. Rest feels easier at some times than others.

Nothing is wrong. Nothing needs fixing.

When we slow down enough to notice, we start to see what has always been there. A natural rhythm that is already part of us.

This awareness is not about control. It is about reconnection. Learning to listen again to what the body has been saying all along.

For every woman, at every age and stage, this rhythm is present. Not something to achieve, but something to remember.

This is me — Jainita, 46. Mum, entrepreneur, qualifications… and still, sometimes I feel like an imposter.

I spent the morning learning new skills, but life was already full — work, family, an unwell child, deadlines.

What’s changed is this: I’m learning to set boundaries, say no, and honour the wisdom of my body.

Not every invitation to push is meant to be taken.

Today I listened instead.

I stopped early. Postponed two meetings. Chose not to override my intuition.

No guilt. No proving. Just alignment.

The old version of me would have pushed through and called it strength.

This version sees the long-term cost — and chooses differently.

And that feels like growth.

At Cycle Smart, we facilitate. This is different to teaching. Or fixing. Or solving.

A facilitator is not here to make everyone comfortable.

They are here to hold the container. To create enough safety for truth, growth and transformation.

To stretch.
To witness.
To ask the question waiting at the edge.
To hold people as they meet more of themselves.

Not to rescue.
Not to fix.
Not to lead from the front.

But to trust what is emerging.

This understanding was deeply inspired by whose work reminds us that facilitation is not performance. It is stewardship of transformation.

The facilitator is not the keeper of comfort.

She is the holder of the threshold.

.naturopath shares her personal journey of discovering the power of cycles — and what it looks like when a woman stops pushing against her body and starts listening to it instead.

So many of us were never taught that we have rhythms. We were taught consistency at all costs. To override fatigue. To ignore shifts in energy. To keep showing up the same, no matter what our bodies were communicating.

But when we begin to understand our cycles, something softens. There’s more self-trust. More compassion. More clarity about why some days feel expansive and others feel slower.

This isn’t about doing less — it’s about doing things in a way that actually works with your physiology, not against it.

A reminder from Ameeta’s story: your body is not the problem. It might just be the most intelligent guide you’ve been overlooking.

Your menstrual cycle is not a limitation.
It is intelligence.

Women are cyclical, yet most of us are taught to ignore it. To override it. To perform as if every day is meant to look the same.

The same energy.
The same output.
The same pace.

Push through. Keep going. Stay consistent.

But our bodies were never designed for constant.

There is a rhythm within you that is always speaking.
A rise. A peak. A soften. A release.

Not random. Not inconvenient. Not something to manage.

A pattern. A guide. A superpower.

When you begin to listen, everything shifts.
Not because you are doing more — but because you are working with yourself.

Your cycle is not something to fix.
It is something to understand.

And when you do, you don’t lose power.
You reclaim it.

Life has its own intelligence.
Let it move in rhythm, not force.
When you soften, you begin to move with it again.
