To our Teja
Oh my goodness you did it.
School is done. No more 8:30-3:00
The routine for 14 years is over.
Whoooo hooooooo!!!
You said at the beginning of the year.
One year to go . Counting down 100 days to go. Three weeks . Last week. 2 days left. One day. Last exam maths. Last bell.
Mike drop. Booya! The dishes are done. Come on.
Congratulations you are Amazing.
You started at C&K 14 years ago with Mary Tc and Jidy.
Then Prep with Scarlet and Lara (Markus)
Seems just like yesterday.
Oh my goodness.
And now you are finishing with Lui, Molly, Oli, JJ and Artie. You have created so many beautiful friends for life along the way.
Early on we discovered that you have servier dyslexia and Irlen syndrome. Sorry about that . Totally my fault. Half of me is in you. But that hasn't held you back at all . You owned it and jumped over that wall. You have virtually accomplished straight As in high school, but the most beautiful thing is that your whole school life you have tried your hardest in everything you do. Your effort is never ending and always so positive.
That is a precious part of who you are .
Always willing to help anyone.
Just like the the time in Prep when you held up Darci when everyone sat on the floor. Mrs Boyd said everyone else shired away but you were drawn to her. "Teja is special."
You are Amazing
All your awards. Over the years so so many on headmaster assemblys, and speech nights
Nothing more precious than your wood work award for me. So proud.
I hardly showed you anything.
Must be in your DNA handed down from your great great grand Dad and your grand Dad. Yeah bring it on.
Your craftsmanship is incredible .
And your welding. The teacher thought another teacher had done it. So he asked you to do another couple of welds with him watching. And you turned up the heat and did a better weld then the first.
What the. "I want you in my engineering class next year" All the Manual arts teachers wanted you in there classes.
The legend has arrived.
You have the steadiest hand in the world.
Now you use the same technique when you use the glue gun.
You have also used those hands in a loving way by holding someone's hand every morning on the way into school that is so precious to the one being held. Where do l start. You have taught Zigi so many things at school. At the beginning you included him in your friendship group,
You have taught him how to catch the train and get off at Auchenflower station by himself. Because of you ,he has the best chance at finishing High school (without you). You are priceless and he adores you.. Without you ,Zigi wouldn't be where he is today. He probably wouldn't even be at school. He would have been lost without you. We'd be lost without you. You are amazing.
You are also simply amazing at art in everything (go Meredith ) So creative, it is a huge part of your life. It is your passion. You are a problem solver . You'll make it perfect if it takes you a couple of times. Your art creativity is a precious gift from God. It's like your super power. But it's also were you go to relax and chill out from the world. It's your happy place. We're you make personal intimate gifts that will last a lifetime.
You’ve also created so many lifetime memories at school. Nothing more special than your lunch time spot were you have sat. All those memories over the years were you've eaten, shared your lunches, relaxed, taken selfies, encouraged , hugged and laughed uncontrollably with your besties . (Never to sit there again in that special way). Some of the best memories in your life. You'll always have that forever.
I've loved picking you up in the truck every last day of the school year and singing to you. "Happy last day of the year." This year was a little different. I sang ,"happy last day forever to you." With tears rolling down my cheeks. In pure joy.
School is just a stepping stone to other adventures in life. The most precious thing you can take from your school life that will last an eternity are the beautiful friends you have made along the way.
The last minute of your school life defines who you are as person a friend . Walking out of school for the last time hand in hand with Oli. Your beautiful friend who you have known from birth (literally). What a precious moment of your school life that you share with Oli. You and Oli will remember that for the rest of your lives.
Friendships that you'll have forever.

The 14 year routine of school is over.
It won't really hit you until next year when everyone goes back to school and you don't have to.
Bring on schoolies at Noosa with your besties and Latvia for Christmas.
The God of the Universe is on your side.
Every thing will work out in the end.
He's got you.
We are so proud of the journey you have had and the person you are today. Kind caring generous patient honest and very loving. You are the most precious friend a person could ever have.
