SEO Keywords
Use the Google Adwords tool to conduct keyword research for your industry. This can be time consuming but super important for SEO and website marketing in general.

1. If keywords are too competitive then narrow down further, e.g the town or country you operate in or from "clothes" to "shirts"
2. Check how much traffic these keywords get using the tool
3. Use the suggested words in Google (the ones that come up as you type a search) to get some more keyword ideas.

Next week I'll do a tip for On Page SEO using these keywords.

Keyword Planner is a free AdWords tool that helps you build Search Network campaigns by finding keyword ideas and estimating how they may perform.

Got a new Seagate 2TB backup hard drive. Works on PC and Mac. Only $149 from Dick Smith (I had a voucher to use).

Comes with backup software that you can set a weekly, monthly or continuous backup.

Remember that it's good to also have an "off site" backup in case of something like the house burning down (touch wood). Either hard drive at someone else's house or Google Drive and DropBox are the popular options these days.

If you're not backing up your computer, now you have the info on your options, make sure you set a time to get it done.

Here's a business tip for you peeps. Don't promote your business in the days before a big personal event like your 3 year olds birthday party.

Thanks everyone for the comments and likes. Feeling the love. Keep them coming. 💓

Do you have a Mac? Use these shortcut keys to make your life easier.

To Copy:
- Highlight the text (or item)
- hold down the command key
- press C key
- then release both.

To paste:
- put the cursor where you want to paste
- hold down command
- press V
- release both keys.

Once you get used to it you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

On windows it's the Control key instead of Command.

Some people will think this is an old trick but always surprises me the number of people who are still unsure about how to do this.

There are some more shortcuts in the images. Or check out the apple site (although I must say it's wording can be a little confusing)
