Hey everyone,

JJIC and KYC are urgently seeking volunteers to assist in our charity op – shop. If you have some time, enjoy working with people and want to give back to the community, we welcome you to come in and have a talk.

All volunteers require a blue card due to the nature of the services provided within the organisations.

Volunteering may assist with meeting mutual obligation Centrelink requirements if suitable.

WE ARE BACK!
KYC and JJIC welcome you to come in and browse our Op Shop. We have a large range of items for sale. We are located at 6/42 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture and are open Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 3pm with times expanding in the near future. All monies raised through sales goes back into community. We welcome donations and welcome specific donations that you would like given for free to a cause of your choice. We look forward to seeing you!
EFTPOS available.
Anyone experiencing homelessness, domestic or family violence or simply struggling financially can access items needed for free. EFTPOS is available for purchases.
Are you looking to volunteer some time for community. We welcome volunteers that can donate some time to sort through donations, keep our shop looking great and manage sales. Please call 5212 1019 or call in if you are interested.

We are back and giving so much more. Very cheap items and if you cannot afford them they are yours. We know that life can be hard and in hard times, we are there. If you can afford to buy great, if you cant let us know. All welcome from 9am to 4pm Mondays to Thursdays. Cya there.

Yesterday, 26 May 2024, celebrated KYC's 18th Birthday and what an amazing 18 years it has been. We have had the opportunity to work across so many areas of community and work with amazing children, young people, families and individuals as well as community itself. A huge thank you to all of the KYC family team members over the years who have all contributed to KYC and the communities we serve. Thank you for being part of the journey and to the amazing KYC team of today, thank you for being who you are and sharing your passion, knowledge and skills with us all.

Looking forward to another 18 years and the journey of transition to a new generation of leaders within the KYC family staff team.

Had an amazing day with family for NAIDOC young and not so young. Huge thank you to the Undumbi Dancers for dance, ochre face painting, grass skirt making, and so, so much more. Amazing greetings to country by Uggee Tais Muckan. Deadly Archie's football with all having a wonderful cultural day that saw strength and spirit for all that attended. Elwyn Henaway and son, love this man for his passion and sharing of culture. Seeing our First Nations babies and young ones embrace and interact with their culture has no price, thank you all. Much love and respect.

The KYC / Jabani Jinna Indigenous Corporation Charity Op Shop is over flowing with affordable goodies. 90% of items 50 cents each. Free to anyone that cannot afford it. Please let people know and come see us at 6/42 Beerburrum Road Caboolture. Sorry we don't have eftpos as our items are cheaper than the fees. Everyone welcome from 9 till 3 daily.

Happy 16th Birthday to KYC. It has been an amazing journey with wonderful team members both past and present across the years that has made KYC what it is today. The ability to work with so many wonderful children, young people, families and community members has been the highlight of KYC and the wonderful memories of time spent walking beside them. Thank you to all of our colleagues across the agencies who work together for the best outcomes to support clients and community and we look forward to celebrating another birthday next year.🍰
