Last year these jeans flew out the door… and honestly? Same again this year. 👖✨

The high-waist wide-leg jean was one of the standout stars of our Jeans Weekend — with almost every woman who tried them on walking away saying:

Karina’s tricky piece? 🤎

This beautiful oatmeal knit skirt.

Now technically… it should have worked.

But Karina just wasn’t wearing it.

At first, she thought the problem was colour.

She wasn’t sure whether the oatmeal tone really worked with the pinks, blues and greens already in her wardrobe.

But what we actually uncovered was something really interesting:

✨ Sometimes an alteration can make all the difference.

So before we even started styling…
we shortened it.

And honestly?
That one tweak completely changed the piece.

Karina’s tricky piece? 🤎

This beautiful oatmeal knit skirt.

Now technically… it should work.

But Karina just wasn’t wearing it.

She wasn’t sure whether the oatmeal tone really worked with the colours already in her wardrobe… and because it’s such a heavy knit fabric, she also found it tricky knowing what textures and shapes to pair with it.

But what we actually uncovered was something really interesting:

Sometimes the problem isn’t what you think.

Because Karina has a triangle body shape, the lighter colour and A-line shape were creating more width through the lower half of the body — which made the skirt feel harder to wear.

So we made one simple tweak…

…and then styled it three different ways.

✨ A printed wool look with rich chocolate tones
✨ A chic layered Parisian-inspired outfit
✨ A rich Bordeaux combination

And suddenly… the skirt didn’t feel tricky anymore.

Nicailla’s tricky piece?

These fabulous animal print boots.

She absolutely loves them… but apart from wearing them with black, she has no idea what to pair them with.

The problem?

Using Nicailla’s Style Profile, we created three different outfits around the same boot:
