NSW families & friends. Please sign our petition. Grace Therapy has been advocating for a fairer support system that will continue to meet the needs of the disability community for the past 18 months. Unfortunately, the government continues to push ahead with their own agenda disregarding the voices of the disability community & allied health practices.
At the moment significant changes are happening regarding how our government provides early intervention supports to children. Currently these supports are provided many private practices across the state, including Grace Therapy. However the state government has decided only to fund not for profit organisations for Thriving Kids.
Why should we be concerned about this? Because for many families these services ensure that they have access to local and experienced allied health that they know and trust. Private practice holds the vast majority of dedicated & experienced early intervention practitioners.
Without access to private providers families and young children who are already facing change, funding cuts and restricted access to early intervention. Will also loose access to the providers that they know and trust.
