Yesterday I attended a networking event with Aromas On Sea - Official on the Central Coast and it reminded me how much I love meeting people.

It was full of supportive business owners who were genuinely interested in helping one another succeed.

One thing I noticed is that the best conversations happen when people are curious. They ask questions. They listen. They want to know your story.

Interestingly, those same qualities are what make someone great at dating too.

Whether it’s business, friendship or relationships, genuine connection will always matter. I wanted to say thanks to everyone that I met. It really made a difference. Love the enthusiasm. It’s infectious. ♥️

It’s okay to be disappointed that someone didn’t turn out to be the right person for you.

But don’t grieve them as if they were..

There’s a difference.

The pain often comes from the future we imagined, not the reality of who they were.

When someone shows you they can’t give you what you need, believe them.

You don’t have to force a connection, chase potential, or rewrite the story in your head.

The right person won’t require you to convince yourself they’re right.

Be disappointed.

Learn the lesson.

Then keep moving forward.

Because the person meant for you is still ahead of you, not behind you.
