Hi, my name is Julie Green and I am very proud to say that I am a Celebrant. I have had the pleasure marrying wonderful couples of all ages and stages in life and have had the honour of participating in over 350 Weddings since 2007. Each Ceremony is special in its own way. On the beach, in a park, on your back verandah, in Grandma’s garden, down the backyard. All great places to celebrate milesto

nes in our lives. Every ceremony is special regardless of how many people are there. Maybe only 4 people or sometimes 150 people. Lavish or plain and simple. As a Celebrant I also perform Name Giving Ceremonies, Vow Renewals and Commitment Ceremonies. Tannum Sands, Kingaroy, Townsville and Caloundra are just some of the great places I have been to in my travels as a Celebrant. I regularly travel to Woodgate, Biggenden, Bundaberg and Bargara for Ceremonies. I attend training seminars and have regular contact with a group of Celebrants to keep up with the many changes in our industry. I am always looking for new ideas and new ways to make the ceremonies I perform as personalized and as meaningful as possible. :)

💜 B & V's elegant purple wedding at In The Grove 💜

Hard to believe that this beautiful wedding was over four years ago. A little rain certainly wasn't going to take the shine off B & V's wedding day.

Surrounded by the lush gardens of In The Grove, they celebrated with family and friends amongst beautiful shades of purple, lavender and white, from the gorgeous ceremony florals and bouquets through to the candles and finishing touches in the marquee.

And when the rain arrived? Out came the umbrellas, and the garden ceremony went ahead with plenty of smiles. ☔️💜
Later, the celebration moved into our marquee, where fairy lights, chandeliers, candlelight and greenery created a warm and elegant setting for the evening.

We loved seeing the purple colour palette carried so beautifully from their garden ceremony right through to their reception.

Sometimes I look at my husband and realize he’s carrying half of my memories.

He remembers the house with the tiny bathroom.
The baby who never slept.
The phone call that changed everything.
The holidays we could barely afford.
The years we thought we’d never make it through.

There are moments no one else was there for.

When I laugh about something that happened 20 years ago, I don’t have to explain it. He was there.

And maybe that’s one of the greatest gifts of a long marriage.

It’s not that we’ve always gotten it right. We definitely haven’t.

It’s that we’ve witnessed each other’s lives. We’ve seen each other become different people over the years—and somehow, by the grace of God, we’ve kept choosing to stay.
Marriage isn’t just sharing a house.
It’s sharing a history.
And that feels like one of life’s greatest blessings. ❤️❤️
