Australia's pork marketing body has been running around trying to minimise the negative findings from the WHO about all things bacon and ham.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out over the next few months. Will people start to eat less bacon, salamis, etc.

I would think, like anything, a sensible balanced diet is the way to go.

Here's a trend that is becoming more common with US based websites...the tendency to indicate English language websites with the US flag icon rather than the Union Jack.

Anecdotal evidence shows that some Americans don't recognise the Union Jack as an indication of the English language version of a website. They're looking for the Stars & Stripes icon.

Maybe we'll be calling English American one day!

There has been much talk about the Internet of Things (IoT) but it's a long time coming.

There have been a few successful innovations like Google's Nest (thermostat controlled by your iPhone) but on the whole, there have not been too many successful products.
