Although this Brigalow Scalyfoot was doing its best impression of a baby Brown Snake I could tell it was a legless lizard 'cause it has ear holes and a big fleshy tongue. 2 things that snakes just don't have!

I had to relocate a couple of Tawny Frogmouth chick's yesterday. I placed them as high as I could in a nearby tree and when I went to check on them this morning I was so pleased to see both parents sitting next to them.

I don't post very often these days 'cause dozens of photos of gecko's and Bearded Dragons just aren't very exciting after a while. But these cute little Feathertail Gliders are just gorgeous! Both were relocated safely and unharmed thankfully.

Whenever I catch and relocate a Near Threatened species (like this Golden-tailed Gecko today) it's always with mixed emotions. On one hand I'm glad that it's alive and I've managed to relocate it, but its a pity that we've destroyed its original home in the first place.

A lovely big Shingleback that I relocated yesterday. It's so good to see one again 'cause I rarely see them anymore!

There are plenty of times I'd love to show you the animals that I catch, but often they're just too venomous, too bitey, too scratchy, or in the case of this gorgeous Feathertail Glider too hyperactive! Surely one of the cutest critters in Australia!
