Thank you so much helping us raise so money for the Good Friday Appeal this year!!!!!
With the help of our amazing clients, Lucy and Jude's Recycling Service have collected 7860 cans, plastics, glass and containers this year to raise $786 for The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne!
This was nearly $200 more than last year, and we hope to raise even more in future years.

♻️💚 Why we love Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme💚♻️
My brother and I run a small recycling business together. He was born with Down Syndrome and spent a lot of time at the Melbourne Royal Children’s Hospital with serious health challenges.

That’s why this scheme means so much to us.

Every bottle and can we collect isn’t just recycling – it’s hope. Half of what we raise goes straight back to the Melbourne Royal Children’s Hospital to support the place that gave my brother the care he needed. The other half gives us a little pocket money and helps us feel proud of being part of our community.
Thanks to CDS Vic, we’ve raised thousands of dollars, met amazing people in our community and at our local depot, and discovered how powerful something as simple as recycling can be. It’s not just about cans and bottles – it’s about connection, giving back, and proving that everyone can make a difference.
Here’s to more collections, more smiles, and more impact. 🌟
