Aspect Consultancy fully supports the need for Australian marriage laws to be amended to include same s*x couples. Holding a postal survey is demeaning and potentially harmful to the LGBTI community, but it is here, so it now needs everyone to support it. This is a matter of recognising equality for all under Australian law. Aspect Consultancy is voting a strong and proud YES!

Aspect Consultancy is not at all affiliated, nor has it ever been affiliated, with Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect). The similarity in the name is the only connection between the two organisations.

Aspect Consultancy is appalled by the details in this article, and in fact have a close personal connection to a someone that attends this service. We have always championed the rights of people with a disability, and their right to live free from abuse and neglect, and we will continue to collaborate with like-minded partners to stamp out these archaic and atrocious practices.
