😳Even though our faces look like it, we're not on L*D, I promise. We are only afraid!😳
Tomorrow we will start working on a large farm for the first time and we have heard horrible stories from friends and people who did this work.😅
Long hours exposed to weather conditions, repetitive work, as***le bosses, mistreatment, the salary... Just okey.
We know that it won't be easy but this is not what worries us the most.
In the past, I worked in childcare for almost 10 years. For a long time I knew I wanted to leave but my fears were stronger and seriously, it took me 4 years to do it! 🤦🏻♀️
▪️What if I don't find anything else?
▪️What if the new job is going to be worse? ▪️What if I won't be able to do it?
▪️What if my bosses are idiots? Or my colleagues? ▪️What if the payment is even worse? ...
Now the story is completely different. We've been out of work for 8 months (yes, living the dream van life), but we have a clear idea that we don't want to go back to the way we used to work.
This farm job is only suppose to be for a few weeks, just to earn some money before moving on to the next step in our lives.
In our heads, we know that we want to be entrepreneurs, to create something that we are truly passionate about, that won't seem like work, and that will bring something good to the world.
And because of that, the fears have changed:
🔸 What happens if we go back to work for someone else? And forever?
🔸 What if we won't be able to create our own business?
🔸What if there is nothing worthwhile we can contribute?
🔸 What if we fall back into the comfort zone?
🔸What happens if we fail?
We know that fears will always be there and it's okay to have them, but this time we don't want them to stop us from doing anything...
Wish us luck for tomorrow 😁🤞🏼👩🌾🍊🍋
