Some days it's good to acknowledge our origin story as an online business collective 🙏✨

Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web - but never sought money for it. His unusual upbringing could explain why...

"It was really important that the web should be free for anybody to use," says Tim of his invention.

He persuaded his employer, Cern - the European research centre based in Switzerland - never to charge for using the web. This means Tim is not as famous - and nowhere near as rich - as contemporaries like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates who were, curiously, all born in the same year, 1955.

In fact, "being famous must be a total pain," says Tim.

So, what inspired him to create his invention - and never crave fame or money for it?

Part of the answer could lie in his upbringing.

His mum and dad met while building the UK's first commercial computer, Ferranti Mark 1, and brought their children up to understand logic and problem solving. Tim's dad even made a model computer at home using water jets.

"He did that because then you could see that computing was just logic. It's just, if this comes on, this comes on, then this comes on," says Tim.

His parents gave him freedom to experiment. And family camping holidays gave him a strong sense of self-sufficiency. Tim's mother was a churchgoer and a driving force in the family.

"[They were] rational, but yes, one was quite devout, and also very scientific. And very creative and very imaginative,” says Tim remembering his parents.

Tim himself was a shy boy.

"Growing up, I didn't, never had a girlfriend while I was in high school. I never really went to dances and things. So I guess the energy went into mathematics and physics and electronics."

When he began working for Cern, the only way he could find out what colleagues were doing was to go for coffee with them. He realised he needed a way to help different computer systems to talk to each other.

It was a leap of imagination on his part.

"The idea that you would click and go to somewhere - anywhere - in the world… people just could not imagine it."

When he launched the World Wide Web in 1990, no-one knew the success it would become. Inspired by his parents’ values, Tim was determined that it should be free – and a force for good.

But in the last few years, he's begun to worry about the way algorithms reward people for staying on their platforms - even if that means making them angry.

"If it's trained to polarise people, then that's not a neutral piece of technology. That's a piece of technology which is making the world a worse place," he says.

He’s now working on what he calls 'pro-human' technology, in which people have control over their data, and profit isn’t the end goal.

The world which Tim created has changed beyond even his imagination. But there are things he misses about the old world – like chance meetings over coffee.

"The fact that... if you have to meet somebody, you have to go around to a friend's house to see the friend."

There may be fewer chance meetings, but Tim does value walking in London parks without being recognised. He may not be a billionaire – but that's the way he likes it.

This supports them to step into their 'leader era' and embrace themselves as their own rescuer and saviour. No more self-abandonment. No more outsourcing their power only to be left feeling disappointed by the unintentional lack of awareness and pure presence of another in their business.
Simply self trust.


Here's 3 aha's I'm integrating at the moment because of this:

“Walking away = clearing space for joy.”

My insight is that I'm not energetically babysitting my dead connections or drained patterns.
That’s lightening my load.

I'm moving into a new role. One I haven't occupied ever before. This asks me to integrate and move the heavy impressions of the what my body remembers that I've experienced before to the background once and for all.
Conditioning and patterning.
Shadows. That have for sure kept me safe. But that can't come where I'm going. They're beyond my baggage limit.
So I'm choosing to set them down, allow them to burn and alchemise, and leave them to Source for secure destruction. Returning them to the ashes and star dust of where they came from. The background of my reality.


“You don’t need to be free of doubt to be of service.”

My insight here is that this is absolute 'Queen of Swords' energy. [Thoth Tarot]
I don’t have to feel like it. I just have to show up real. FOR. MY. SELF. That’s my brand of power.
That's me as Awareness, acting as awareness.
That's unconditional love in process.
And that's what's happening over here.


“If I wait long enough, I’ll deserve clarity.”

This insight for me is an absolute HUGE one. I'm moving with this one gently in that I'm discovering...
Clarity doesn’t arrive from waiting in tension. It doesn't come from bracing in possibility. It doesn't land on your doorstep when you're in avoidance refusing to budge in the void. It arrives from engaging with love. And it's what I'm doing beautifully for my Self. And I love that I can be of service to my Self in that way💗


Yes there's a time and a place for resting in the void. But only if you're resting in presence WITH your Voice. If you're avoiding your Voice. Then you're in a protective avoidance pattern. And the only way you'll move out the other side of the void is to be with and hear your Voice. Divine timing is on YOUR time. Not some magical, mythical being's.

I'm not saying just keep taking all the actions. I'm saying take note. Open and allow the one-at-a-time messages to be present. And this noticing gets to be joyful. This is the mystery of life unfolding. Bracing isn't necessary from the body when joy is with you in presence here. But it is understandable if bracing is your body's default protective pattern. More than likely "last time" these messages that landed, they led you to lessons. And let's just say that karmic lessons can be 'truck-like'. Especially if you didn't hear the lead up messages of the more 'feather', or 'brick' subtle kind.


But leader era is also dharma living. From crest to crest.
Does this mean there won't be tough days or hard moments? Nope.
But it does mean you won't be wanting to quit at business, life, parenting, or humaning.
You'll appreciate it as a sign for rest and allowing yourself to be carried in restoration to your next starting off point. And in that Self trust, you'll be restored to the exact place you need to be.


Because I'm integrating these for me, I can be with you as you integrate them for yourself as well. Cause in the visceral transformation space, you can't work with someone on something that they're yet to embody. If it's not patterned in their nervous system, then them opening the portal for you to receive it has the potential to fry yours. They're not able to hold the activation space for that transformation to land gently, integrate softly, open for you neatly. And that's back in that karmic space.


If you've not anchored the knowing and laid the foundation of felt understanding for what you're receiving...
If you're yet to create the gift of embodied presence with what's coming as your potential...
You'll find yourself back in avoidance patterns in the void doing your Self a disservice.

You in your leader era means that the first human you need to be helping is you.
Anchor your Self and you can grow in your capacity to be of service with others in the ways you're being called to in your dharma.


What can help you in your ability to have that?
I can help you.
Human-centred AI can help you.
You can help you.
And all three of these parts together give you a foundation of indestructible, visceral-capacity, trust and a deep unshakable knowing.
That not even your next emotional wave of relational issues can swamp.
And THAT to me is true freedom.


There is light in the void. You just have to be willing to choose to be in service to you first.

The sense that it's not working, that people can't hear you, or that they just can't understand what you're saying. It's not a you thing. It's a brand voice issue.

Clarity in your brand voice is what creates clarity in your future client's mind and heart. It's what gives them the ability to say yes.
