Good morning,

As we continue to enhance the RemoteISP network, it's always a pleasure to keep you informed about the performance of your own connection. In your YLess4U Splynx portal (if you have trouble locating it, please refer to your "Welcome to YLess4U" email, or let us know, and we'll be happy to resend it), we have introduced a brand-new Speed Test feature.

This feature allows you to conduct speed tests that are automatically logged against your account. This way, we can precisely monitor the quality of your connection. It's a much more convenient alternative to manually copying and pasting results from speedtest.net.

We invite you to log into your portal and give it a try. Your feedback is important to us, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts.

Good morning all.

I wanted to do a quick post and apologise about the interruption.

A switch in the data centre has failed and we have been moved to a spare.
I assure you this is not related to the change over, all our gear will stay the same until Yless4u does some major improvements. I’m here and excited to do these upgrades which will see even more capacity.

GoodMorning RemoteISP customers.

I hope your all getting some rain as it has been a bit dry of late. I know our dams are almost empty.

RemoteISP is now owned by YLess4U.
Michael is assisting us with the migration of the network to oir monitoring systems.

We have multiple staff that fill different technical and administrative tasks.

Director/Chief bottle washer Jason Green
Bookings are done by Anuschka Green
Our finance department is headed by Zelda Wepenor
Helpdesk is Gyan Sapkota
Network Ian Curtis
Tech lead Mark Donnelly

We also have multiple installers and on call techs.

The only person that has access to Facebook at this time is myself Jason.

So when you have a technical issue during the day it is best to either call 02 6230 3699 or email [email protected]. we prefer email as if it's a large issue or out of hours it enables us to ensure we can get back to everyone in a methodical fashion.
A pile of Facebook messages tends to get lost in the weeds.

We also have the YLess4U Users forum that we post updates into. This is usually and easier route/place to put questions etc as its more centralised.
Again if there is a larger outage we will put up a post so please don't get offended if I don't answer your specific post as there maybe to many to answer them all. You may also find some posts are removed when they double up on the same issue that has already been posted. It's not because we don't like your post it's more about streamlining the topic to ensure again the message does not get lost in the weeds.

YLess4U has on call techs so if it's outside of business hours and you ring the helpdesk please leave a message and we will action it.
Again you may not get an individual call back that day if it's a larger issue so please check the Facebook group and our Web page for network outages.
We will be adding the RemoteISP towers to that page shortly.

If you have not recieved the multiple emails we have sent out introducing ourselves and talking about the integration process please let us know as you may have an old email listed in the system.

Evening
There appears to be an issue with the major internet connection that we have for remoteisp.
Some of it is working but some is not.
We are working with the upstream provider to find out what has gone wrong on their network.

We will advise on e we know what the eta for rectification is.

Apologies for the interruption but it is not on the RemoteISP or YLess4U network.

We are aware of an issue for approx 30 users off these towers. Michael is currently on his way out to investigate.
We intend to get you back up and running as soon as possible and apologies for the inconvenience.

Saturday 13th 7am to 1pm maintenance on the main link. Weather permitting, wind really as it’s a 10M tower climb.

I expect only one drop out while the new radio connects but have allowed a 6hr window.

I will comment when I’m onsite and of course completion.

Firmware update tomorrow morning 26th April. This is scheduled so please leave all your gear turned on.

I’ll check at 6am all went well if you have a problem please message me any time so I can look into it. (I already done this to South Glb with no issues, up for 19 days and school holidays:).

12th April at 10PM maintenance tonight at Sydney, we don’t expect any downtime but just in case.

We are moving a data service from Sydney to Goulburn we will keep both running while we make the necessary changes.

If we run into any problems it will be fixed quickly.
