Paul McIntosh or 'Macca' as he's better known - is one of Queensland's most respected agronomists.

That's why after 40 years he's been recognised with the GRDC 2020 Seed of Light Award - which recognises people for communicating the importance of research outcomes.

“When Paul has something to say, everybody listens. He’s extremely generous with his time regardless of whether you're a large or small grower, senior or trainee agronomist or a journalist. He firmly believes that everyone’s interest deserves to be given due attention” said John Minogue from GRDC.
