I am so thankful for working with such an amazing woman!! Roxanne McCarty-O'Kane - Writer lets me harness my passion for transcription and transcribing some of the most inspirational stories I’ve ever heard. Every story I take on grows me as a person, with the research that I undertake to hopefully give meaning and life to each transcription, and cut down the their editing time.

I don’t just type, I like to research my project! To fully understand and give my clients an accurate transcription, I do a lot of background research into meanings, places, spelling etc.

I cannot wait to see the finished product from our latest... it has changed my life and viewpoint to so much extent. I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to work on this latest project 😊

I hope everyone is doing okay in these strange, trying times?

A MASSIVE BIG THANK YOU to all the people who work in the essential services, who keep everything going, and put up with a HUGE amount of crap. THANK YOU!!! Without you things would be hugely different and diffcult.

This self isolation is like school holidays every day but without the social contact, play dates and no countdown back to school in sight 🤪

Thankfully I am lucky enough to have been working at home for over 12 months or more now, and I have the flexibility to support the self isolation.

I do have some availabilities for businesses that need either one off administration work, short term, casual or even regular administration support. So if your business needs a bit of assistance with administration, get in contact via message and I will be in contact with you.

A Virtual Assistant is a self employed contractor who generally works from home, and can complete most of the same duties as an on-site employee but without the added overheads, and with no set hours.

What a journey this last 6 months have been, an amazing adventure into the VA world and I'm loving every minute of it!

I actually have quite a load of transcription work on at the moment and I LOVE it!!!!

Usually transcription is my zone out time away from kidlets - some people read, watch tv or movies, play games, garden, knit etc. I transcribe recordings for others.

It’s a form of relaxation, where my senses combine, I can tune out and focus and my fingers can skim the keys and type those spoken words to written words

Plus I do a lot of research into the content so it makes it easier to transcribe, so I am always learning! Which opens up a whole new world. It’s much easier to get the language across if you have a basic understanding of your content 😊❤️👩🏼‍💻
