A proud result for CBC Custom Building, with Project Binney receiving a High Commendation at the 2026 Master Builders Tasmania Awards for Excellence.

Body corporate projects are never easy, with plenty of moving parts and the added challenge of completing works while respecting everyone’s homes and shared spaces. Our team did an amazing job managing safety, communication and scheduling throughout the project, while keeping everyone informed along the way.

One of the real strengths of this project is how the old and new have been brought together, with original details such as the stucco plasterwork helping retain the character of the building alongside the new renovation.

A fantastic result and a huge credit to our team, trades and suppliers who helped bring Project Binney to life.

Our Collins Street project is complete!

Despite the challenges of working within a large body corporate, restricted access and limited working hours, our team has transformed this inner-city apartment into something truly special.

Working alongside Cove Interior Design, we brought the client’s vision to life with beautiful terrazzo tiles, custom joinery, stone finishes, detailed cabinetry and feature lighting throughout.

The result is an incredible transformation that our client absolutely loves.

Welcome to the CBC team, Brad King!

Brad has been working closely with the CBC team for more than six months and has now officially commenced his adult carpentry apprenticeship.

His drive, initiative and strong work ethic have earned him a spot on one of our largest high end projects, where he is being challenged, learning plenty and building a great range of new skills.

He has also recently upgraded from his Buckaroo tool belt to an Akribis tool belt, which probably costs more than some people’s first car, so it is safe to say he is fully committed to the trade.

We’re excited to have Brad officially on board and look forward to watching him continue to learn, grow and develop with the CBC team.

A serious amount of concrete for a serious project. Working alongside Hazell Bros Concrete, CBC Custom Building has poured more than 161 cubic metres of concrete on this large scale build so far, with plenty more still to come.
