Did you know that not all fire extinguishers work the same?

If a fire starts, do you know which extinguisher to use? Using the wrong one can make things worse!

What would you do if a fire breaks out?

In an emergency, panic can set in - but knowing these steps could save lives!

1️⃣ Stay Calm & Act Fast – Fire spreads quickly. Take immediate action.
2️⃣ Alert Others – Yell “Fire!” and activate the alarm if possible.
3️⃣ Use the Right Fire Extinguisher – If safe to do so, use the correct extinguisher for the type of fire.
4️⃣ Get Low & Go – Smoke rises, so stay close to the ground when evacuating.
5️⃣ Close Doors Behind You – This slows the fire's spread.
6️⃣ Never Use Lifts – Always take the stairs.
7️⃣ Call 000 – Report the fire as soon as you’re in a safe location.
8️⃣ Don’t Go Back Inside – Once out, stay out!

Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility - make sure you, your family or your team know these steps!
