If you're in your first ten years post-admission, working in a local firm, government department, or anywhere in between, you're one of us.

What a great day! Our 2026 tour of the Launceston legal profession was an exciting opportunity for the Practical Legal Training students of Hobart to see what it's like to practice in our slice of heaven 👨‍⚖️
The day started with a lunch and panel discussion with local legal stalwarts who shared their top tips for early career lawyers 🌯
Next, we were off to tour the Supreme Court, Family Court and Police Prosecutions. TALS and Legal Aid Tasmania opened their office to the students along with long-time local firms Bishops Barristers & Solicitors and Rae & Partners Lawyers ⚖️
Dinner at The Royal Oak was the perfect way to end an inspiring day!

The Launceston Lawyers gathered at Staffordshire House last week to welcome the latest round of newly-admitted lawyers to the profession.

Rae & Partners Managing Director Melanie Kerrison hosted the evening, welcoming Launceston’s newest lawyers to the already vibrant legal community. Thank you to everyone who came along to support this wonderful event!
