A great way to stimulate word of mouth (or word of mouse for online/social sharing) on facebook is getting your customers or clients to tag your business in their posts.

To add a tag the user simply needs to type " name" as they write their status update and facebook will show the relevant names for the user to pick from & they just select the correct name.

Just as businesses are getting a handle on how to manage pages, Facebook go & make things harder.

Facebook have changed the way business page feeds are displayed to likers, limiting the status updates to a certain number of users only. To ensure likers see posts, they need to click/hover the 'Liked' button and select the 'show in news feed' option.

So for pages you 'Like' and if you have a business FB page, be aware!
