The City of Logan Charitable Trust grant funding round is open 🙌

Applications will close 5pm on 10 June 2026. For applications and full terms and conditions head to the CoLCT website - link in comments

To be eligible organisations must be;

✔️Operating within, or delivering outcomes within, the City of Logan
✔️Providing support or services that benefit the Logan community
✔️A charitable organisation with DGR Item 1 status
✔️Able to demonstrate a genuine need for funding and a clear plan for how funds will be used

I finished National Volunteer Week yesterday with a huge day out at Bark in the Park 🐾 a free community event for dog lovers thanks to Charis Mullen MP 🙌

My towing skills were put to work taking the Empower Assistance Dogs trailer (trailer towing is my secret super power 🤣), which was packed to the brim with all the essentials to create a therapy dog chill out zone, which had the people and doggos buzzing all day 🧡🦮

Today I got to catch up with Abby 🙏

Abby lives with FND, and is supported by her assistance dog Greg 🐕‍🦺
Greg helps Abby with mobility, her daily activities, and he is also able to sense when Abby is going to have a seizure.

Thanks to amazing organisations like Empower Assistance Dogs, and supporters like Blackout Catering Group, matches like this between handler and assistance dog flourish 🧡

I will be there with Suki, volunteering for Empower Assistance Dogs team🦮 There will be stalls, food and even some doggy competitions like;

🐾 Scruffiest Dog
🐾 Most Appealing Eyes
🐾 Waggiest Tail
🐾 Golden Oldie
