Introducing Jam Sandwich!
July 6th, 2026 (2nd week of school holidays)
Tickets are live for Jam Sandwich | School Holidays Group Music Session

There are just 8 spots per session for this holiday Jam Program.
Kids have the chance to play music with peers while conducted by 2 qualified music teachers
(Who are also professional musicians!)
Session length: 1.5 hours
Drop off your kids and enjoy some quiet beach time or stay for the funky musicial experience.

Kids will have the opportunity to play percussion and rhythm jam on various instruments. Bring your own or play one of the studio ones.

Session 1 - Beginners Jam (All ages)
10am to 11:30am
Session 2 - The Band Jam (8 to 13yrs)
1pm to 2:30pm
Where: Sailaway Studio, Eimeo (Address supplied upon booking confirmation)

Meet the teachers
Amelia Kase
Amelia is a professional vocalist and front woman in various bands. She has toured in Europe and Japan (twice!) and has three degrees including a Master of Creative Industries. Working with students of all ages to find their own groove and write their own songs.
Artists seeking to take their music to stage and recordings gain holistic support with Amelia's extensive industry knowledge.

Mitch Hagger
You may have seen him in the Cosmic Scalliwags, that funkalicious Band called Alchemunk or even in Japan touring with Greshka. Mitch is a professional drummer and specialist teacher and has been known to conduct bands of 5 to 50 participants.
He's a registered teacher and really knows how to support beginners to join in even when they have no prior experience.

N.B. There are no actual sandwiches or catering included. Please BYO Waterbottle.

There's an exciting gig coming up for the artist, Clare Cowley!

It's going to be at the amazing Old Museum in Brisbane and will be such a great milestone for her and the band, Clare Cowley and The Flames.

I'm helping Clare get presales together for her merch right now and just wanted to share that I'm so proud of how far she's come.

I'm enjoying the ride on this Album Launch journey for 'Synthetic Lover' and I can't wait for you to see it played live. As an independent touring artist, I appreciate the level of planning involved and I can tell you Clare has been putting in a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Every ticket sold means a lot to whole team!

About the event:
Celebrating her crowdfunded record, Synthetic Lover, Clare Cowley, is performing the poetic folk country album live at iconic Meanjin/Brisbane venue, The Old Museum.

Clare Cowley hails from the small town of Allora. Her musical journey began with sing-alongs around the piano, inspiring recorded music that embodies this spontaneous spirit. The album highlights Clare’s vocal tenderness, lyrical sincerity and themes of fear, love, death and devotion.

Sunday May 17th, Clare will be joined by all-female band The Flames featuring Julia Bates lush harmonies and sassy strings players Skye McNicol, and Kathryn McKee. Paired with fingerpicked guitar, smoky harmonica by the singer songwriter, this is an experience to remember.
