After completing the Phase One - Identify, Define, Solve (IDS) Workshop, the cohort are now into Phase Two at their organisations applying the new Process Improvement skills and tools to solve real workplace problems. 📊

Through tailored coaching, practical application and measured benefits delivered, they will receive Certification meeting the requirements of ISO 13053 - Quantitative Methods in Process Improvement 🏆

Located in NSW’s Hunter Valley, Yancoal Australia Ltd’s Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) open-cut mine produces ~12 million tonnes of saleable thermal and coking coal annually.

The Yancoal MTW Mine Warehouse team has driven a Continuous Improvement and capability uplift program over the past four years.

The best improvements don't start with tools and tech —they start with your people.

It was a pleasure for Andy O to once again partner with Lenore Miller from Agile Change Solutions to facilitate an interactive workshop for the fantastic team at The Marketing GP, at their recent Strategy Day.

Our interactive workshop, 'Better by Design', centred on something we both believe deeply: lasting, sustainable improvement comes from truly engaging and involving the people doing the work.

Rather than approaching change from the top down 'push' or just looking to replace it all with tech, we explored practical ways to simplify and strengthen the team's ways of working, aligning and supporting one another more effectively, and thus creating even more value for their clients.

The feedback from Directors Holly Martin and Alyssa Brault captured the impact:
"The concepts delivered sparked meaningful discussion in the session but also afterwards, which has led to some real headway around innovations and improvements to the business as well as to the way we work. Andy and Lenore ensured all concepts were relevant and tied in with an outcome we'd discussed prior, so the session will have meaningful impact in the way we operate into the future."
